Academy Nature Area Redeveloped
Over the summer Brentside Primary Academy had the Nature area redeveloped. The idea was to make the area into an educational nature garden.
There is a large pond with a cascade.
A large gazebo with decking and a dipping area for children to use with nets to look at pond life.
There are planters in an allotment section for classes to grow their own plants and vegetables.
There is a woodland area with bug log pile and seats.
There is a grassed area around the weeping willow
Further planting of trees and shrubs is planned to take place in October 2014.
