PUTTING CHILDREN FIRST
Brentside Primary Academy is working towards becoming a 2 form entry school, 60 pupils per
year. The gradual expansion to 2 form entry began in 2010 and will be complete across the school for academic year 2016-17.
All applications to Brentside Primary Academy & Nursery are considered under the below admission criteria.
Where applications for admission exceed the number of places available, the following criteria will be applied, in the order set out below to decide which children to admit:
Looked after children or children who were previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, child arrangements order, or special guardianship order.
Children with a brother or sister who will be attending the main school (not the nursery class) at the time of admission.
The distance from home to school is measured by straight-line, from a point in the property to a point in the school determined by the grid references for the centre of the school’s postcode.
