Black History Month celebration

Across October

Our curriculum is rich in diversity and Black history is woven through all subjects in the school year.

A range of activities will take place across October to learn about historical events in relation to Black culture, with an assembly on 23^rd October sharing our learning with each other.

Cultural Day

To celebrate the diversity of our school community, children are encouraged to wear clothing from their own cultural background or heritage, or the colours of their flag. The kitchen will be serving a special menu to celebrate Black History Month

Pupils will take part in enterprise activities; planning, creating and selling goods with the aim to make as much profit as possible! Goods will then be sold at the Winter Fair
