Putting Children First

School Awards

Over the last academic year, we worked hard to achieve the following school awards:

Here at Brentside Primary, academic achievement is only part of our vision for the school. We provide many opportunities for pupils to master and practice in the performing and visual arts and to develop their speaking and listening skills through whole school events.

A central aim of BPA is to provide a rich and supportive child-centred learning environment, which is age appropriate for the needs of all pupils. We recognise that some pupils experience very heavy burden and are particularly vulnerable.  We are aim to support these pupils by providing them with much needed emotional support they deserve.  As well as ensuring the curriculum is based on consistent, child centred quality teaching and learning throughout the school.

Wellbeing Award for Schools – the main aim of this award is “to promote emotional wellbeing and positive mental health across the whole school community”.

Excellence in Pupil Development award – the main aim of this award is “to promote positive behaviour and attitudes”.

NACE

BPA are a member of NACE which is the National Association for Able Children in Education. This demonstrates our consistent commitment to developing high quality provision for more able learners and challenge for all.
