Putting Children First
As you know, we try our hardest to keep you informed about what is going on in school. However, sending out paper letters is not always reliable due to them being mislaid, crumpled or lost to the depths of your child’s bag!
To help improve communication we have signed up to a service called SchoolPing, which is already used by hundreds of schools across the country to communicate with parents and carers.
This app will be replacing the current Brentside Primary App and will also be used instead of the Teachers2Parents text messaging service. It is important that all parents download this app so the school can stay in touch with you.
SchoolPing is a free app which sends instant messages straight to your smartphone, wherever you are. If you do not have access to a smartphone, you can also receive messages via email or by logging in to your account on the web. Whether you're at work, at home or on the go, all you need is an internet connection to stay up to date with all of the school’s news.
The SchoolPing app is available for free download on both Apple and Android phones. You will need a username and password to login once the App is downloaded.
Login details are provided by the school office, parents or guardians with parental responsibility will automatically be provided login details. Please call the school office if you require additional usernames and passwords for other members of your family or childminders etc.
The App is made by New Era Education Ltd.
