Tree Planting in Nursery
During the Summer holiday an old Elder tree had to be removed from the Nursery playground as it had died. The tree was removed by Tom Boswell Tree Services.
Tom Boswell later contacted the school to donate a Cherry Tree to replace the Elder that was removed.
The tree was planted on Thursday 16th September 2016 with the help of some pupils from the Nursery.
The Nursery pupils braved the rain to help put some soil into the hole and plant their first tree. The nursery pupils will be helping to water the tree over the next few weeks to ensure it settles into its new surroundings.
