• Local Councillors Visit Brentside

  On the 8^th March 2016 we had a visit from two local councillors, Lynne Murray and David Rogers. The councillors were interested in seeing how promoting British values takes place in our school.

   

  The councillors attended a whole school sharing assembly and then met with the School Council.  The School Council asked questions and spoke to the councillors about difficulties they had encountered with anti social behaviour where they lived. It was a successful morning which could result in our pupils having more opportunities to work with local representatives.

  

• Year 2 French Day

  Children in year 2 have been learning all about France over the last few weeks. They have been learning all about French culture and have been working on an art project creating Parisian buildings. On Friday the 26th February the children's art creations were added to Miss Chana's Eiffel Tower to create Paris in the Nature Area of Brentside Primary Academy. The children brought in French food and wore French clothes for the afternoon for their imaginary trip to Paris.
